Trip to the Raukawa Marae

On the 11th we went to raukawa marae but we had to walk. It was hot and long but we got there. Matua Rawiri was the speaker. Then when he finished the. people on the left side and me sing.Then Matua Te Tahi spoke. the whaea maharata started to sing at the right side of the marae.

Then Matua Rawiri was talking about the past and how Otaki was born.Then we went for a feed.Then we went to Te wananga o raukawa. Then matua Bill was talking about why they built Te wananga o raukawa.Matua Reuben told us about people on the pou.Matua Brian told us about people on the pou and people related to them.

Then we went back to raukawa marae to have a feed.Then we went back to college.
